Photographs Echo The Voices Of Middle-Eastern Women

Stanford’s Cantor Arts Center has curated a comprehensive collection of photographs and videos from Iran and the Arab world in “She Who Tells a Story.” Originally organized by the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the exhibition features the work of twelve female artists who examine themes of gender roles, religion, war, and traditionalism. women’s Basketball: Dons Vanquish Pacific to Advance

The women’s basketball team headed to Las Vegas last week to participate in the WCC tournament. USF had a good enough record in the WCC to bypass the first round and go straight to the quarterfinals. Global Women Rights Forum: Empowering Strong Women

In the two weeks before Spring Break, USF hosted the 14th annual Global Women’s Rights Forum.  The event, spread over the course of four evenings, was coordinated by Professor Dorothy Kidd, chair of the media studies department, and Professor Elizabeth Friedman of the politics department. Each evening was intended to pose interesting and relevant questions in relation to modern women’s rights, not only in the United States, but across the globe. Womens basketBALL: USF Ends Season On High Note

The Dons closed out the 2015 regular season with two wins at home. On Saturday USF faced off against Pacific who they beat handily by a score of 91-79.
